Hacemos el indio? Casi un tipi.

Esta semana hemos estado de jardineros. Cada uno cogía su herramienta (los niños tijeras, yo una sierra) y cortamos hojas, ramas y a veces medio arbol. Hacia mucho tiempo que no se habia podado el jardín y al final teniamos una montaña grandisima de ramas y más ganas de hacer un tipi que llevarlas al contenedor. Unimos las ramas con una cuerda y sujetamos unas sabanas con pinzas, luego sacaron los peques cojines, mantas y juguetes. Los cuentos de buenas noches son mil veces más emocionantes si se cuentan en un casi tipi!

Almost a Tipi
This week we did gardening. Everybody took his tool (scissors for the children, a saw for me) and cut leaves, branches and sometimes half trees. It was long ago that nobody pruned the garden and at the end we had mountains of branches. We prefered building a tipi than taking them to the container. We connect the branches with a rope and fixed some sheets with clothespins. The childen took cushions, blankets and toys to the tent. Goodnight tales are a thousand times more exciting if you tell them in an almost tipi tent!

Fast ein Tipi
Diese Woche haben wir gegärtnert. Jeder hat mit seinem Werkzeug (die Kindern mit Scheren, ich mit einer Säge) Blätter, Äste und manchmal halbe Bäume abgeschnitten. Der Garten war schon lange nicht mehr beschnitten worden und am Ende hatten wir einen riesigen Berg von Ästen und viel mehr Lust ein Tipi zu bauen, als sie zum Container zu bringen. Also haben wir die Äste mit einem Seil verbunden und ein paar Laken mit Wäscheklammern festgesteckt. Danach haben die Kinder Kissen, Decken und Spielzeug geholt. Gute-Nacht-Geschichten sind tausendmal spannender, wenn sie in einem fast Tipi-Zelt erzählt werden!
